2020 Membership Challenge
Our “Vision for 2020” is to increase your State Association and EANGUS membership and we are here to challenge and motivate you! The EANGUS 20% Challenge has already kicked off and will continue through 31 July 2020.
The challenge has multiple levels and there will be multiple winners as described below. This challenge will focus on the recruitment of new members as well as the retention of current members. The challenge is for each State to increase its membership by 20% during the period of the competition, with prizes to be presented at the EANGUS National Conference in Little Rock, AR. We are offering CASH prizes to each of the seven EANGUS Areas so they can reward the States in their Area who improve the most. There are also national level prizes that will be awarded as indicated below.
Area Competition for States:
- Each of the seven EANGUS Areas has been allotted $1,000 to award the following prizes: 1st Place – $500 2nd Place – $300 3rd Place – $200 = Total of $7,000
- The State(s) with the largest percentage of increase in membership during the competition period will be announced as the winners in your Area; however, each State must achieve at least a 20% increase in order to compete for the cash prizes.
National Competition for States and Areas:
- EANGUS has allotted a total of $3,000 which will be awarded as follows:
- $1,000 will be awarded to the ONE State with the highest percentage of increase in their State membership during the competition period, provided they achieve at least a 20% increase. So…..the State with the highest overall percentage of increase in members will receive $500 from their Area and another $1,000 from EANGUS!
- $2,000 will be awarded to the ONE Area with the highest percentage of increase in their Area’s membership during the competition period, provided they achieve at least a 20% increase.
All membership numbers for this competition will be taken from the official Membership Reconciliation Report published by the National Office. The percentage of increase will be computed using each State’s paid membership number as of 31 July 2019, compared to your paid membership number on 31 July 2020. More details and a list of each State’s membership numbers on 31 July 2019 is included in the attached Challenge SOP. All States are automatically included in this competition — we’re asking for your assistance and work so that EANGUS can achieve its “2020 Vision” to increase membership!
